This two-person better ball team tournament is conducted by the NCGA with club level qualifying administered by MGC. NCGA Championship qualifying is August 8 at local clubs to be announced. Championship is September 10-11 at Poppy Ridge GC. Players must have reached their 55th birthday by September 8 and have a numeric handicap index not to exceed 36.4 (men) or 40.4 (women).

The two low net teams will represent MGC in the NCGA qualifier. Qualifiers receive paid entry fees to the NCGA tournament and are not eligible for regular tournament prizes. Qualifiers must have played in at least four MGC tournaments in the past 12 months. But note, you do not have meet this requirement to enter this event, only to qualify.

Team handicaps will be established using the NCGA tournament formula which states, “Play will be 90% (men) and 95% (women) of the course handicap using a maximum handicap index of 18.4 for calculation. If partners’ course handicaps differ by more than 8 strokes, and additional 10% will be applied to their course handicaps.”

You can sign up as a team or as a single. Team net prizes and closest to the pin prizes. This tournament is for MGC members only.
